Mark Burden Dec 2009
10 December 09
Mark Burden was granted a Phase 1 Collaborative Studentship Award to conduct research for his doctorate in the period 2007 – 2010. He has conducted his research in partnership with the Dr Williams’s Library, and this has included compiling a new online resource on tutors and students in dissenting academies in the period 1660 – 1720. He spoke with Norman Winter at the Library about this little-studied period of religious intolerance and persecution, and new understandings coming to light. More podcasts relating to Programme funded research in conjunction with Dr Williams's Library are available. [9min 14sec]
