Religious and Secular Memories in Eastern and Western Europe Event

Religion and Society funded project Memories of Religious and Secular Ceremonies, led by Professor Peter Coleman, has been combining oral history and gerontology in a cross-cultural study incorporating Bulgaria and Romania and the UK to examine the role of religion and secular alternatives to religion in providing a sense of meaning to life.
