Multi-Faith Spaces Video

Manchester University has produced a video introducing the innovative, inter-disciplinary Multi-Faith Spaces project. Access it here: http://www.sed.manchester.ac.uk/architecture/research/mfs/

This project hosted at Manchester is led by Professor Ralf Brand who is Senior Lecturer in Architectural Studies. Dr Andrew Crompton (Architecture, University of Liverpool) is Co-Investigator, Dr Chris Hewson (School of Enivronment and Development, Manchester) is Research Associate and Revd Dr Terry Biddington (St. Peter’s Chaplaincy, University of Manchester) is Theological Associate. Funded by Religion and Society, the project is shedding light on a growing but, until now, academically-ignored phenomenon.

The project is organising a conference on the subject at which the team will present findings March 2012 in Manchester: http://www.religionandsociety.org.uk/news/show/multi_faith_spaces_conference_expressions_of_interest_request

Ralf Brand has written a case study about this research for the book Religion and Change in Modern Britain which features contributions from numerous members of the Religion and Society Programme and will be published by Routledge January 2012: http://www.routledge.com/books/details/9780415575812/
