More funding for Faerie Queene

Phase 3 project the Faerie Queene Now involves the smaller Faerie Queene Litrugy Project. This has recently been awarded funds from the HEIF (Higher Education Innovation Fund) to commission new music from the composer Tim Garland. Garland will compose four original ‘Faerie Queene Canticles’ for jazz trio Acoustic Triangle and the Royal Holloway College Choir. These canticles will set part of the original text inspired by The Faerie Queene that is produced by the project.

Researcher discusses Sikhism and Vasakhi on BBC Radio

Jasjit Singh was invited to present the Pause for Thought on Sarah Kennedy's BBC Radio 2 morning show on Thursday 11th March, 8th April and then 12th-16th April for the week celebrating Vasakhi- when in 1699, the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh gifted five articles of faith to Sikhs. Jasjit was then interviewed on BBC Radio 4's the Sunday Programme on 18th April. You can access the recordings from here.
